Remote desktop times out server 2003

I am running an terminal server on windows 2003 standard edition.  When a user minimized the application for an extended period of time they get disconnected.  The red x with the two computers comes up in the corner.  Sometimes it will take 2 -3 minutes to reconnect , other times it is instant.  

Users who stay in the application working do not appear to be affected but the people who minizmize it are.  

Our line is extremely fast so I am not sure quite how to fix this ?  Start Free Trial
