Why does it take two tries to log off and what is the fix?

Lately I have been having an issue logging off of Windows 2000 Server. I'm logged on as administrator and when I click start --> log off, I get the "Are you sure..." prompt but  when I click Yes, nothing happens. If I click start-->log off --> Yes on the "Are you sure..." prompt again, it then logs off normally. This is really annoying. Does anyone know of a fix for this?  Thanks!Start Free Trial
