Hello everyone,
I'm in the process of reimplementing the setup of my network. I'm near the end of the implementation. I've setup roaming profiles and user accounts for all the users, transfered critical data to the server because the previous network was p2p. I would like to know how I can implement saving the users email to the server. Basically I want users to be able to login from any pc on the network and get their mail. I don't however, every time a user signs onto another computer have their C:\Documents and Settings and their user name to show up on every computer they log into. (can these be deleted when a user logs off?) (if i setup for instance their email location on the Netscape client, on C:\Documents and Settings\username\mail. this will slow the login process correct? Should I setup a share on the server called mail$ and save their email on this location? We use a web host for our email, (Netscape is the email client we use.) Most of the users have at least 1 to 6 gigs of email locally on their computer. It's important, I'm able to save the users email because they need to always be able to check back to previous orders from their customers. I also don't want the users having to setup their email every time they login. I don't have exchange server, should I take this into consideration? Can someone guide me in the right direction? The users will soon be logging into the domain as soon as I can get this issue resolved.
Thank you sincerely.
