PDC gone to he.., none BDC!

Have a bit of a challenge.
Have taken over a server installation with MS Win 2003.

The PDC went down an none BDC configured!
No backup of systemstate!
I am now reinstalling the PDC, planning to use the same netbios and domain name.

Is there a solution that let me "reconnect" the computers and member servers to the PDC when this is up and running other then to disjoin from the domain and then to join the "new" domain
