User name change in Active Directory

Asked by TinaSC in Windows 2003 Server, Active Directory

Tags: name, change, ad, user, active

I've looked thru some previous postings, but am still a little confused so I'm asking my question to be sure.  We have a user who was married a while ago, but it seems her username was only "sort of" changed.  In AD (account tab), her user name is "userNEW", which is what you see in emails.  But, there's a user log-on below that (still on account tab) which specifies pre-Windows 2000.  Here, it says her user is "userOLD", which is what she uses to log-on to her computer.  I'm guessing someone may have only changed the top one??  Can I change this 2nd option on the account tab to read the same thing?  Thanks...Start Free Trial
