Print server issues - Print spooler services stopping when adding printers

In a Windows Server 2003 - Active Directory environment:

- A windows 2003 machine that is mainly a print server has an issue where the print spooler services are stopped when adding new printers or sometimes modifying existing printers.
- Print spooler service has to be manually restarted
- Print queues/printer drivers include: Lexmark, HP, Canon, Toshiba, Kyocera
