Move WSUS to different server and upgrade using old WSUS data
Hi,
I have a WSUS 2.0 box I wish to decomission.
I would like to setup WSUS 3.0 on a newer existing box with different IP and computer name.
I'm happy to reconfigure-install WSUS 3 from scratch, however I was hoping there might be a way to use the old WSUS downloads (16GB) worth rather then having to re-download again.
Is this possible based on my scenario, if so, how would i do it and or rather should I do it. Perhaps its better off doing a clean install and clean download.
