Server service stops randomly every few days

On our server, the actual Server service stops suddenly, at random times, throughout the week. Naturally, all networking type methods between the server and clients, cease to function at this point. I have found the following article, which mentions a fix, but I was wondering if anyone can fortify the solution as a possible means of correcting the issue, before I go messing around with the registry:
