I can't launch MMC or the Symantech Security console.

I went through Microsoft's site and chagned policies to 'disabled' and ran gpupdate then rebooted.
There aren't really any policies implemented on the server which is what makes this doubly frustrating.

Are there any logs generated? What exactly happens when you try to open them? Are the processes running and the interface not showing?
