Workstations unable to receive IP address from DHCP Server (Windows 2003) After Migration

Asked by mpatryn in Windows 2003 Server, Windows XP Operating System

Tags: , , ,

After completing a migration from Windows 2000 Server to a new unit using Windows 2003 Server the workstations that were turned off are unable to get IP address from the new server.  I authorized and setup the scope for DHCP and configured DNS.  If I setup a static IP address there aren't any problems, even peforming an NSLOOKUP.  But under Dynamic there's a Limited Connectivity issue, unable to get an IP address from the DHCP server if its forced.

I need this configured ASAP and fixed, any suggestions???Start Free Trial
