Dynamic Disks in Windows 2k3, R2, x64

Asked by kibbs in Windows 2003 Server, Computer Hard Drives, Computer Servers

So I was in the computer management console this afternoon sleepy after two days of reconfiguring this server.. and I accidentally chose to create the C;/ Drive Boot Disk as a Dynamic disk.   The server is a web server and also SQL Server.

Now all my drives are setup as dynamic.  Am I in trouble?  Did I make a big mistake?  Will this hurt the OS server operations?  Will this cause problems later?

I have Vista Ultimate Workstations that need to access the shared files on the server.   Please let me know if I F'd up and have to start this whole process over.

C: Operating System (Boot)  Dynamic
D: RAID 5 (Hardware Controller Raid)  1.2 Terabytes   Dynamic
E: STRIPED  300 G  Dynamic
