Offline files will not synchronize, Access denied

Zones: Windows 2003 Server, Windows XP Operating System, Active Directory

I have a Dell Latitude Laptop that I have setup on a windows domain. All laptops on our domain are set to synchronize their "My Documents Folder" for offline use. This particular laptop is refusing to synchronize to the network. The error is: "Access to (file name) is denied on (server path to my docs)" All files from the server are being applied to the laptop so the use can work on the files but when the user disconnects the laptop from the network and works on these files, the file will not synchronize back to the server. Also, when the file is connected to the network the modified file/ new file shows a size of 0 bytes, but when the file is opened offline the file size is right. I have tried the following:

1.) Reinitialize the Offline file cache (ctrl-shift)
2.) Recreated the computer account on the domain
3.) Tested transfering files to and from the server while logged in as that user (Successful)
4.) Windows OS repair.
5.) All other users are synching fine.
6.) recreated the user account in active directory

I am having a hard time with this one and I have almost given up.

I am working on this issue and I also have a Latitude D630. I will narrow this down further. I didn't uninstall the Wave Systems software. Instead, I simply ended the WavXDocMgr.exe process and then performed the Synchronize and it worked immediately. I'll try to find out why. As an authorized Dell Reseller, maybe I can get support personnel to add this finding to their knowledgebase.
