slow logoff from terminal server when using start program option
Hi,
My terminal server experiences slow logoff problems if the connection uses the "Start Program" option. When the user closes the application, the session is slow to log off. Server is Windows 2003 Standard.
This problem does NOT occur when the "Start Program" option is not used. Logoff is prompt.
Any ideas?

ASKER
No, there is no GPO associated with the terminal session.

What I have noticed is that if the cmd.exe process for the logged in user is terminated on the server, the connection completes the logoff process. This seems to be the culprit.
How then, to ensure that this process is terminated in a timely fashion.
