I had two namespace servers running the latest Windows server 2003 R2 DFS.
I renamed one of the namespace servers without touching DFS first. I forceably removed that namespace server via the GUI. But I cannot add the new name of the server as a namespace. It's saying that server is already a namespace server.
When I removed it via GUI, it said if I had any issues, to use dfsutil.exe from windows support tools. I can't seem to find the correct syntax to remove a namespace server from command line. I want to remove it, then add it again. Thanks.
