How do I unlock DCOM access on a standalone Windows 2003 server? Locked via security template.

configured via a security template. Setting is Machine Access Restrictions in Security Descriptor Definition Language (SDDL) syntax " setting in the Database Setting column to the Distributed COM Users. Now administrator cannot run any .mmc utility. Server is configured with custom Enterprise/Bastion host level security template.

I can read/open gpedit.mmc; event log. mmc, etc. but when I try to open an entry or edit it... nothing happens. Start Free Trial
