How Do I Connect a Remote Client to SBS2003

Asked by positsol in Windows 2003 Server, Microsoft Server

Hi All,

I am trying to connect 4 client PC's to Small Business Server 2003 over a VPN connection.  I seem to be getting to the end and of the connect computer wizard, then get an error message at the end saying
"An error occured when configuring networking settings. See your network administrator."

Can anybody let me know where I am going wrong and how I can fix it?

Our Setup is as follows...

Office 1
SBS 2003 (IP: 192.168.1.102)
4 Clients (connected to server)
NetgearDG834 Router
LAN IP: 192.168.1.??
VPN to Office 2

Office 2 (Remote)
4 Clients (unable to connect to the server)
Netgear DG834 Router
LAN IP: 192.168.2.??
VPN to office 1

I have sucessflly connected the clients at office 1 to the server without any problems.  Maybe this is because they are in the same building.  I have detailed below some of the IPCONFIG information from each of the machines.

Client already connected to the server.
