Can you add unallocated partition to the C:\?
I have a MS 2003 Server R2 that has a ton on space on the D:\, but no free space on the C:\. Is it possible to remove the D:\ and add that unallocated space to the existing C:\?

It is possible but you need nondestructive partitioning software such as partition magic. There are some free alternatives out there, like gparted. gparted is actually a linux app, but it will boot a small linux distro on a CD and let you run the command, partition your drives, and boot back into windows.
I don't that this is supported, but you might be able to do it with a tool like Partition Magic. Typically, Windows doesn't want to extend the C: drive. Other than that, you could Ghost the drive to another drive and extend the partition during the operation. I am pretty sure there isn't a way to do this while the drive is online in 2003.
If the disk is a dynamic disk then yes, personally I'd resize the partitions with BootITNG http://www.terabyteunlimited.com/index.htm

I could not find a partition manager to work on a 2003 box. But like I said paragon worked great and is easy to use but you have to use server edition on 2003.

Just on another note, While repartitioning software should work fine, The question really becomes, are Drives C and D on the same physical Hard drive, or the same Logical RAID drive? If the Windows Operating System see's the partitions as on separate drives, then repartitioning won't work. If this is the case, you could use a program similar to Ghost and image the server, upgrade the hard drive, and push the image back to the new hard drive. If your talking about a RAID setup, after Ghosting the machine, instead of upgrading Hard drives, you your redo your RAID setup to allow more Hard drive space on your OS RAID.
for example, on my servers I usually run 2 RAID's, I set 2 Hard drives for a mirror, install OS on it, and 6 drives in a RAID5 setup for my data. If I need more room on on my OS drive, what I can do is, after imaging my server, delete my raids, put 3 drives in a RAID5 setup for my OS, and 5 drives in a RAID5 setup for my Data.
