Can you set the login wallpaper's location to a network share?

I'm trying to centrally manage our network login wallpaper's. The key is set to an anonymously accessible share here:     HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Control Panel\Desktop\Wallpaper. This however does not work (If I set it to a local picture it works fine) I've also tried using the IP instead of it's name

Any idea's if it is possible?
