WIndows 2003 'Breaks' after 2nd reboot after DCPromo

Asked by ArmstrongInt in Windows 2003 Server

Hi there

I have a Windows 2000 domain (win2k native) any time I add a Windows 2003 domain controller it works fine, but after a 2nd reboot basically all the relavent network services don't start so no network connections, also it breaks the windows installer service. RPC is running but nothing else.

When I upgraded to Exchange 2003 last year I did all the relevant domain/forest preps (Schema version 31) and ADSI edits. Just I think there must be a problem with my AD that is causing this problem.

Anyone have any ideas before I call microsoft.

Thanks
