CAN'T Find the right Migration doc

Asked by changari in Windows 2003 Server, Windows 2000 Server, Microsoft Server

I am now part of team running a windows 2000 domain. We are alos running exchange 2003 on a windows 2000 server. I am looking to migrate the domain to windows 2003. I want to create a new server with r2 and then use that server to functionally promote it to 2003 dc instead of upgrading a current windows 2000 dc. I know using a fresh install is always better that doing an upgrade. Even according to a few of the members here in the logs they say the same. Are there any documents from MS that state the "preferable way is to". I have been looking for documents with our type environment and/or environment scenario but to no avail. I have to produce a document supporting my suggestions as soon as possible today. Can anyone help on this?Start Free Trial
