I have to log into windows server twice - why?

Asked by jscan2005 in Windows 2003 Server

I am testing an evaluation version of server 2003 on a dell pc.
When i restart the machine - I have to log in twice before it lets me in?
Why would this be?
It seems like it's logging me in on the first time - but then it stop and i have to log in again - which works.
I'm afraid to do any more with it as I think it could be some sort of "shadow" virus or something?
I am running virtual server on it.
Can you help?
