HA cluster redundant Public network ip

Hi Experts,

We have just setup a test HA Cluster, we have got 2 Nodes and where just a bit confused with the ip setup.  we have 2 heartbeat (private) nics in each and 2 Public nics in each

S1:
H1 - 192.168.5.1/24
H2 - 192.168.6.1/24
L1 - 192.168.8.1/24
L2 - 192.168.7.1/24

S2:
H1 - 192.168.5.2/24
H2 - 192.168.6.2/24
L1 - 192.168.8.2/24
L2 - 192.168.7.2/24

We had to set them up in different subnets becuase all 4 would not show in the cluster management, only 1 of each and then we could not manage them.

This seems to work fine but if the L1 network goes down then the L2 network is not in the same subnet as the workstations on the network.

This is a first for us and sure there is a simple solution but cannot work it out

Cheers in advance.Start Free Trial
