Setting up the terminal server (win2k3)
Running the SBS server, now I would like to add another server as terminal server so users can access the email (Exchange), applications etc&..
I have license for Windows server 2003 with 5 CALs, does that mean only 5 users can log on to terminal server? If then I need to buy more licenses.
Now, how do I start installing the OS for terminal server, is there any different process? Then once I installed the OS how do I install the application&.am I able to install the applications like on normal OS (windows XP) or I have to install using the Add/remove program&could you please provide me the information on installing the application on the terminal server.
Do I need to do anything on the SBS server for terminal server? And what are the security rights I need to enable for terminal services to get access for users.
Please provide me all the information for setting terminal server.

I am littler bit unclear about the Win server 2003 and 2003 terminal server....do i need to install terminal server separately once i install the windows server 2003 R2..please explain me.

if you only have a handful of users, personally, i would let the user profile be created when they first log on to the server and manage it from there.
You can set up a path to a roaming or mandatory profile in a server share if you want to..totally up to you. I don't currently due to slow network speeds that cause problems when trying to load the profiles. If you don't have that problem, then by all means set a path in the users menu on the SBS.

1) 2003 Terminal server is a separate license from 2003 _server_. The base license is 5 users.
2) Don't join a 2003 terminal server as a PDC or BDC to the domain. Leave it a 'member' server only. (You also can't, if it's a SBS PDC)
3) Don't install any programs until you have the terminal server service set up. Use add-remove programs to add programs, or, at the least, be sure to put your terminal server in 'install' mode.
4) Keep in mind that 2003 server does have different licensing types - per machine and per user.
