Domain Controller - DFS with replication

Asked by callyp in Windows 2003 Server, Active Directory

Hi,
I have one PDC with AD integrated DNS and 2-ADC (1st with AD integrated DNS and 2nd without DNS).
Created DFS with replication on PDC and 1st ADC which is working fine. But when tried to map DFS root to clients through "\\domain.com" it is always pointing to 2nd ADC.
How can i map DFS root to clients so that they always point to PDC and automatically switch to 1st ADC if PDC is down? 2nd ADC will never come into picture.

Thanks.Start Free Trial
