Public Share Files and Folders are Read Only

Asked by mdmcq5 in Windows 2003 Server

Configured new server - ran robocopy on old server to copy all files and folders to the new server...

Now files are opening as read only and users can't edit...
How can I resolve? There are easily 1000 files...

would running something like attrib -s -r D: work or would that cause more harm?Start Free Trial
