DFS Root Link Issue

I have two servers.  For simplicity; ServerA and ServerB.

I setup A Domain Based DFS Root on ServerA.  ServerA is not a domain controller.  ServerA already had a share being used for file serving, so i just used that share.  I then moved X, Y, Z folders from ServerA's share to ServerB's new Share.  I then Setup Links to ServerB's Shares Under the DFS Root.

I was able to map a drive to the domain.com\DFS_Sharename.  All works well.  I then thought.  Hmm i need some redundancy.  So opend the MMC, and created a new Root Target Link on ServerB with a different share name than i was using previuosly.  The sytsem let me do it and when i look at \\ServerB\Sharename, it matches Server A's DFS Setup.

The problem is that now, all the users Drive letters are mapped to only the moved files i first placed on ServerB.  So half the folders are missing.  (Because half are on one, half are on the other)  Does this make sense?Start Free Trial
