Did you installed any latest updates recently.. Like rollup 3 or 4.. I just faced the same problem last week and i reinstalled rollup 3. which solved my problem..

I installed exchange server 2003 on one of virtual machines called hmailsvrweb and configured it as front end server.Already there is backend exchange as well called hmailsvr2.After designating hmailsvrweb as front end when i go to browser and type http://hmailsvrweb/exchang

No i didn't installed any updates .I simply intalled exchange server 2003 on windows server 2003 and configured it as front end.It was all going well and synchronising with backend exchange server 2003.Two days later I started to get this problem.If i go to browser and type in my backend exchange address as http://hmailsvr2/exchange it opens with owa page well and everything is fine but if i use my front end address as http://hmailsvrweb/exchang
