Hi
i 'run' a windows server 2003 edition co hosted server.
I have had i for a couple of years without much problem, recently though various aspects of the server have been failing on a regular basis.
i know that its impossoble to expect someont to know the exact cause of my problem so ill just list the symptoms and see if it rings a bell with anyone
when the problem occurs the following happens
sites using a local msSQL database stop working throwing the usual cannot connect error.
interstingly, sites running from a non local msSQL databse do the same.
html sites continue to function.
i can connect remotely to the server
i cannot browse the web from the server.
a restart of the server clears all these problems.
the problem will probably reccur within 48 hrs.
any ideas?
