1... is the server also a primary DNS server?
if so.. any MS Primary DNS Server needs to have as it's primary DNS ITSELF!!
why on earth microsoft did this I am not sure..
But you must set the primary DNS on the Primary DNS Server to ask itself what it already knows..
2... Name.com ... is this server hosting the web page???
3... Is your Hosts file modified...
where is your hosts file???
C:\WINDOWS\system32\driver
how do you know if it is modified??
there should be only one line that does not start with #
127.0.0.1 localhost

from the server itself can you ping the FQDN? ie servername.domainname.com
can you ping its own IP address from itself?
