Question

RAS stops working after restart

After restart the Remote Access Service will not start.  I must delete the server in Routing and Remote Access and reconfigure the server to get it working again.

any ideas?

Are you certain you aren't suffering from the issue after SP2 regarding Receive Side Scaling?

yeah, for some reason, there was no default gateway.  But it's weird that it would work at all.  Once I put it in it started working.  Also, not sure as to why the default gateway would disappear from the settings.  I KNOW I PUT IT IN!
