KDC errors in event log - There are multiple accounts with name MSSQLSvc...

On all of my domain controllers, I am getting the following system log errors:

There are multiple accounts with name MSSQLSvc/wccsql.WCC.westchestercountryclub.net:1433 of type DS_SERVICE_PRINCIPAL_NAME.

I researched it a bit, and understand that there is are two or more computer accounts that have the same service principal names (SPNs) registered.

I need someone to give me step by step approach in clearing this up. I already looked at the microsoft article about clearing this up, and found it is to advanced for me.

Thanks

You can also do this which will allow you not to have to edit with ADSI.

To resolve this problem, locate the computer accounts that have the duplicate SPNs. When you have located the computers that have the duplicate SPNs, you can either delete the computer account from the domain, disjoin and rejoin the computer to the domain, or you can use ADSIEdit to correct the SPN on the computer that has the incorrect SPN.

ASKER

I need someone to guide me through
Go into Active Directory Users and Computers then find the computers account that you can delete then right-click delete. Once you have deleted the computer account go to the computer then remove from the domain then re-join the domain but going to System Propteries in the Control Panel then Computer name tab then click change.
how do I find out which accounts have the duplicate SPNs?
