  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. SBS 2003 moving from one Server to another help

this is like the hardest question to ask because i cant even find it on google like eeeeeeek  
my boss is looking to spend no money what so ever we have a new server though ( hp proliant  NEW Nice sucker :) ...

coming from a P4 3.2 ghz 2gb 2 80 GB IDE drives about 4 years old of hardware STILL living on its last leg (surprised) not a name brand though just a quick server cheapy box in those days..

BUT ANYWAYS

i have SBS 2003 fullly updated to the newest evertying

WHAT IS THE EASIEST method on moving all my active directory stuff. (or rebuilding i have only 14 employees

im not concernced on losing that as much as i just NEEEEEED to keep all the MAIL on exchange thats my primary FOCUS..

so i can build everything new like normal but how would i be able to move all my 20 mailboxes to the new box..

of course i have to move everyones MY docs and such :))))

my windows backups are not even working anymore that well so i know i have to defintly probabally  reinstall the OS but i just dont know on a method to take the active Directory or should i just rebuild that. just because im mostly concerned on keeping all the Exchange Store boxexs.


And again my boss is not looking to purchase any products for me so i have nothing i can even look into buying.
