The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. As a member of Experts Exchange, you are able to cast your vote on the quality of the solutions in regard to how complete, accurate, helpful and easy to understand each solution is. Group Policy for Windows Update Security Group.

I am having a hard time understanding how to do it and thought I would just ask then try to figure it out on my own.

I want to have 3 different GPO for WSUS.  
One for IT, so they get the updates right from microsoft when they come out. (all computers in the same ou, but I still made a security group for them)
Second one, for a pilot group to test the updates.  (all computers are in different ou's, but I made them part of a security group)
Third group will be the rest of the computers in the company (not part of the first 2 groups)

I'm having a hard time trying to figure out how to assign the permissions to the policy, since I'm dealing with computer accounts and not user accounts.

I assigned the security filter for the IT group to the security group, SF for the pilot group to the second, and left the third alone.

But it's not following it they way I thought it would.  I thought it chose the most specific memberships, and used those first.

I know using user groups, you have to deny the ones you don't want to get it, but I can't do that because there is no "all computers" group.

What is the best way to do this?
