tftp software

My desktop pc is getting its IP Address via dhcp as normal for internet use etc

i wish to find a TFTP program that will allow me to copy a different ios from my pc to my router which is connected to my pc via my console cable.

ive used a program called PUNK... something cant remember what and it would never pick up the IP Address that it should do it would always pick up the same range as my pc and even when I set my router to the same range it still had problems allowing me update my ios if i chose to.

can anyone help?
