Ports required for Outlook and exchange 2007 communication

Hello All,
I am using exchange 2007.
We got a requirement for few users who are in a different network to use our mailbox.
Network team is asking for the port details to open firewall port.

Could you please let me know the ports to be opened in the firewall so that user from external network can connect to our exchange mailbox.

The ports used for outlook are not the same each time see here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/833799

For external access you should be configuring Outlook Anywhere in Exchange 2007: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc179036.aspx

This uses port 80/443 depending on how you configure it.

Best practice is to NOT have any firewalls between the Outlook client and the Exchange server exept when using Outlook Anywhere.
