Restoration after HDD crash

We suffered a bad HDD crash this week and we are about to restore the server.  We have heard somewhere that there may be issues if you revert Active Directory back over more than a few days.  Does anyone know what issues we are likely to run into before we commence a restore, so we can head these things off at the pass?

The key there is if you restore after the tombstone lifetime (typically 60 days) you will run into issues more on that here

Well, anyone who might have reset their password between the time of the crash and the point of the restore would have to use their "old" password, as the AD you're restoring wouldn't know about the password change. If you have more than one domain controller, this point is moot, as the other DCs will have the updates.
