The latest version of the tools were installed before the upgrade to Server 2003 and seem to be working. There is no prompt to install or upgrade in the Status box of the VMWare Server web UI.

Browse All TopicsI have a Windows server 2003 VM running in VMWare Server 2.0 that was upgraded from a migrated Windows 2000 box. When I try to shut it down I still get a "it is now safe to shutdown your computer" screen. there doesn't seem to be any way to power it off completely. Even the poweroff command doesn't do anything when it is in that state. There are no APM options in Windows and I can't see anything relevant in VMWare. Does anyone have any ideas?
