It looks like the Visualizations folder is empty in WMP10 (I think the instructions are for WMP11) but deleting the keys from HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWAR

Browse All TopicsUsers on a terminal server (Windows Server 2003) are complaining that when listening to an audio file, the visualizations(Windows Media Player 10) slow their sessions down to an unacceptable level. I'd like to find a way to disable the visualizations, and not change the terminal session 'experience' settings and without going to each workstation and setting the 'no visualizations' setting within WMP. Please let me know if there is a group policy or registry key I can change to disable this for all users.

You will need to script this and there are two ways. One will simply remove the visualization and the other, delete these completely. /topic6967 1.html

WMP uses certain DLLs for the visualizations and what needs to get done is all explained here:
Registry approach:

I prefer the second one as you can simply unregister the DLLs without deleting them.
You would do that on your TS on the file USRLOGON.CMD (a script that runs for all users logging into a TS).
