Hi,

We have a Windows 2003 R2 x64 file server.

As in many companies, there are many users that are quite organized with their work, but that's a problem for IT Manager when they start to cerate and create folders and folders with long paths.

We have an important issue about that, because at this moment a bunch of users are having troubles when trying to open or modify files that have a path longer that max-path.

Now, we create a share or rename the folders to shorter names to solve the issue, but I'd like to  know how to solve that issue in a better way.

Users ar working on mapped drives, not on UNC paths.

Thank you.
