i am getting this error on my win server 2003 sp2. Member server. after i restarted.
"windows could not start becuase the following file is missing or corrupt: <windows root>\system32\ntoskrnl.ex e
Please re-install a copy of above file"
What exactly i need to do step by step please. i will appreciate

i get now
"Invalid boot.ini file"
then i get
"windows could not start becuase the following file is missing or corrupt: <windows root>\system32\ntoskrnl.ex e
Please re-install a copy of above file"
i did all steps by ZombieAutopy except the one for bootcfg
can help me how to correct this problem, and have windowns boot from c:

yes, we use that command
bootcfg /rebuild
[1] C:\Windows
Add installation to boot list? (Yes)
Enter Load Identifier: windows 2003
Enter Operating System Load Options: /fastdetect
bootcfg /rebuild
[1] C:\Windows
