\\UNC is not accessible
Getting error when trying to access computers on the network from a Windows 2003 x64 SP 2 server (which is a DC along with a Win2008 DC).
-------------------------- -
\\unc is not accessible. You might not have permission to use this network resource. Contact the administrator of this server to find out if you have access permissions.
-------------------------- -
The inaccessible client is a Window 7 client. Two other Win7 clients reproduce same behvaior. Typing in IP address doesn't work either. It will, however, open the shares of the Win2008 Server using \\name format.
It does work the other way around (\\win2k3 server from win7 client), and also works from win2008 server. Just not from win2k to win7 clients.
Clients are registered in local DNS server correctly (i.e. names resolve)
Thanks for any help!

As stated, IP address does not work. When I tryed to MAP a drive per your suggestion, I get the error:
The mapped network drive could not be created because the following error has occurred:
The specified server cannot perform the requested operation.
thx

found solution myself!
Other way could be to open the explorer and go to Tools>Map a network drive.
