Printer Spooler(spoolsv.exe) crashing frequently from Windows 2003 platform
Print Server OS is Windows 2003 R2 with sp2
This normally happens if you have old printer drivers being used or you are using a very low priced desktop printer. I suggest updating all drivers and firmware on the server to make sure it's up to date and run Windows upate.
You might have issues with a specific print driver. If you're using HP 1022 printers, check this:

Iam using the below printers.
HP2600, HP2820, HP4600, HP5000, HP5100. HP5200, HP 800,TOSHIBA2820, XEROX PHASER 7400, XERX9203 and CANON 2620
Server OS is Windows 2003 R2 STD edition with SP2
Server H/W:HP DL320 G4
I installed all avialble windows updates as well, but still the spooler crashed frequently.

We have 30 printers on the above said series. I have reinstalled Server OS and the printer drivers 3 times and even changed the server hw too.

Issue has been resolved by upgrading the server OS to Win2008 and reinstalling the drivers
