Redundancy/Failover options for SQL Server 2000 & 2005

Asked by twcadmin in SQL Server 2005, MS SQL Server, Windows 2003 Server

I have one server running SQL Server 2000 and another server running SQL Server 2005 both are enterprise edition. I was wondering what options do I have for redundancy/failover between the two versions? I'm also looking for some kind of guide so I can figure out how to point all of my DSNs to one address called SQLServers and have that point to either server so if one server is down, the other server will take over without any downtime.Start Free Trial
