Terminal Server Uninstall Adobe hangs

Asked by lgalan01 in Remote Desktop/Terminal Services, Windows 2003 Server

Tags: Windows 2003 Terminal Server Sp2

I have been noticing that my server is running msiexec.exe at 25% CPU utilization. I noticed the Adobe Updater application was running in the services when users were logging in. So I disabled the adobe updated application. I would like to uninstall adobe air and now it gives me an error in eventvwr  "Product Adobe AIR -- Error 1705. A previous installtion for this product is in progress. You must undo the changes made by that installation to continue." I can't figure out why this is happening.
