Situation:
Removed server from domain.
Renamed server.
Restarted.
Changed IP scheme to new subnet
Attempted to join to new domain.
When the server rebooted it took close to 5 minutes for the reboot. Eventually the system starts but it cannot open Network Connections. Services says Network Services are "starting". It will stay that way for about 15 minutes and eventually I can see the installed NIC cards. I can ping other servers on the network but I cannot get out to the Internet.
Have tried:
- Clearing DNS cache.
- Removing and re-adding TCP/IP service.
- Removing server off new domain to Workgroup.
- Logged on to the local machine.
- Installed new NIC card.
- Changed IP settings.
- Removed all mapping.
- Started with only essential MS services.
Nothing seems to work. Network Connections just hangs and cannot go outside network.
Help... network has been down all day.
