Question
backup exchange 2007 hangs on running consistency check
Dear experts
I have installed EBS 2008 into an existing domain and have almost completed the migration stages. The user mailboxes have all been moved to the new exchange 2007 server and are working fine.
I want to take a temporary backup of the new mailserver. I have tried using the native windows backup utility but it is hanging on "running consistency check ..." I know that this backup program isnt exchange aware but it is capable of taking a snapshot as a whole.
I intend to install backup exec 12 but am not ready yet and need to backup asap.
Any thoughts?
