When you setup the virtual network ; did you selected the type as "External"
ual_pc_guy /archive/2 008/01/08/ understand ing-networ king-with- hyper-v.as px
External type will allow your virtual machine to appear as physical server on your local subnet as other machines
also, make sure they are on teh same IP addressing range and subnet mask with the same default gateway
