Browse All TopicsHi all,
I am currently attempting to implement Windows Live@edu. I have installed all necessary software and created my management agents and Run profiles. I have run the active directory full import and full sychronization agent with success, however when I try to run the export agent I get the following error - ma-extension-error. The event log shows the following detail:
Event Type: Error
Event Source: MIIServer
Event Category: Server
Event ID: 6801
Date: 05/06/2008
Time: 17:02:53
User: N/A
Computer: VIDEOSERVER
Description:
The extensible extension returned an unsupported error in MIIS.
The stack trace is:
"System.Exception: System.Exception: MemberNotAuthorized: Not authorized for this operation.
at Msn.Domains.ManagementAgen
at Msn.Domains.ManagementAgen
at Msn.Domains.ManagementAgen
Microsoft Identity Integration Server 3.2.1005.0"

I have tried the microsoft help to no avail.
I have tried the validate the object against schema (an options button on the error message) and get:
Required attribute 'NetID' is missing.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated as I seem to be going nowhere with this at the moment.
Thanks
Natalie

Found the solution on my own! A very small number of students already had email addresses in active directory through exchange 2003, so this was stopping Identity Manager creating the new ones.
