User being prompted for enter password after the password changed in Active Directory

Hi;

Some of my user who changed his/her logon password, however; they found that after that when they go to the Sharepoint site (internal sharepoint services server), they are required to enter the user name and password on the sharepoint page, usually they do not need to.

I want to know, if it is by design or some setup mis-configured in Sharepoint Services.

In the Userinfo table of Sharepoint Services database, there is a column called ???GUID, if it is linked to the User ID of user at Active Directory.
