With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. Web Part Frustration

I've got a Web Part that I wrote in VS.NET 2005. Works great on Server A, but when I move it to Server B, I get this message when I try to drop it onto a Web Part Page:

> The "AccountSearcher" Web Part appears to be causing a problem.

That's it. That's all I know.

Remember, it's working on Server A, but not on Server B. So I did a diff between the web.config files for both servers--nothing significant is different about them. Both have Full trust, too. I also did a diff on the Medium and Minimal .config files between the two servers--no differences whatsoever. Those files are identical (as they probably are intended to be).

Can anyone point me toward a possible solution here? What a vague, unhelpful error message: "...appears to be causing a problem". I love the "appears", too--really, they're not even sure that it IS causing a problem...but it might be...:)
